Mid-week confessions

Happy Thursday everyone.  I have to say, I've always been a fan of Thursdays.  You are in the tail end of the work week, everyone is looking forward to Friday and the weekend, and there is almost always good TV on Thursday nights.

- I have officially gotten fat enough graduated to using my husband's work out shorts as pajamas.  My normal pajama bottoms are getting a little too snug around the belly and I can't stand to have tight clothing when I sleep.  Fortunately, my shirt is still my own.  And I'm sporting some college pride - Virginia Tech shorts and a Rocky Mountain College t-shirt.

- After a patient last week said to me "You are only 19 weeks?!?!  Are you sure there aren't 2 in there?" I started stressing that maybe I was gaining too much weight.  I have no idea what my weight is as I'm too afraid to step on the scale.  Others have assured me that I look perfectly normal for being 20 weeks along.  I am happy to say that I feel more weight going to my belly than my thighs anymore.

- I came this close to throwing something at said patient

- While I vacuumed the main floor on Monday, the other 2 levels of house remain full of dog hair.  The vacuum is still plugged in in the living room

- I'm debating whether to buy new baby furniture, accept free used furniture or do a Craigslist search or garage sale for baby furniture.  Part of me is just snobby saying I can afford new furniture and my baby deserves the safest, fanciest, most trendy stuff out there.  The other part of me is a germophobe and I don't like knowing that someone else may have peed/pooped/puked on anything used.  Then I try and justify it saying that if I buy new furniture I can always reuse it for baby #2 so it is a capital expense.

Hope you all have a great weekend.  Andrew will be gone part of the weekend so I'm hoping to start tackling the office - I will try and post before and after photos for you guys.

Also stay tuned for updated belly pics on Sunday and the big gender reveal on Monday!  Can't wait!
